Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. Information we collect

Chesky collects information necessary to deliver our hiring intelligence platform. Categories of information we collect depend on how you interact with our services.

Account and organization data

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, job title, and billing information. For enterprise accounts, we also collect your organization's domain, ATS configuration details, and team member information.

Candidate evaluation data

To provide our core services, we process candidate data flowing through our platform: names and contact information, resumes and CVs, LinkedIn profiles and public professional information, GitHub profiles and public repository data, case study submissions, video responses, and evaluation scores. This data is provided by enterprise customers (Controllers) in connection with active hiring processes.

ATS integration data

When you connect an ATS (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, Ashby, or other supported platforms), we access your data in read-only mode. We do not write data back to your ATS unless explicitly configured. We collect job descriptions, candidate pipeline data, and evaluation metadata.

Usage and analytics data

We automatically collect information about how you use our platform, including pages visited, features used, time spent, browser type, IP address (anonymized after 90 days), and device information. We use this data solely to improve platform performance and user experience.

2. How we use data

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing, maintaining, and improving the Chesky platform
  • Generating AI-powered candidate evaluations and evidence records
  • Creating role-specific case studies from job descriptions
  • Performing anti-AI detection analysis on candidate submissions
  • Analyzing cultural fit through public digital footprint data
  • Processing payments and managing subscriptions
  • Sending transactional and service communications
  • Responding to support requests and inquiries
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Service
  • Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and security incidents

We do not use candidate data to train our AI models without explicit written consent from the enterprise customer. All AI processing is performed in isolated environments on a per-evaluation basis.

3. Data sharing and third parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers

We work with trusted service providers including cloud infrastructure (AWS), AI model providers (via secure API gateways), payment processors (Stripe), email providers (Resend), and analytics services. All service providers are bound by data processing agreements.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

Business transfers

If Chesky is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred. We will provide notice before such transfer.
